Empowering Children. Building Futures. Transforming Communities.
Sarva Sewa Trust was established in 1985 by Col. P.C. Khanna with a heartfelt mission to empower underprivileged children through education and opportunity. What began as a scholarship initiative has since evolved into a dynamic, multi-dimensional program dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child.
After Col. Khanna’s passing in 1992, the Trust’s vision was carried forward by his daughter Vibha Khanna Rastogi and her husband Bharat Rastogi, whose compassion and commitment helped grow the organisation into a trusted force for educational upliftment.
Today, the legacy continues with the next generation. Ananyah Rastogi, Vibha’s daughter, actively leads the Trust’s work, not just administratively, but on the ground, teaching and mentoring students herself. Her hands-on involvement brings renewed energy and a deep connection to the cause.
Our Vision
At Sarva Sewa Trust, we believe true empowerment goes beyond financial aid. That’s why we’ve expanded our work to provide:
- Academic scholarships and extra classes to bridge learning gaps
- Mentorship programs and career guidance
- Access to sports and extracurricular activities to foster all-round development
- Mental health support, including counselling for teenage issues and depression, with psychologists available for professional help
- Healthcare services, such as eye and dental camps, often extending to students' families and providing powered glasses when needed
We recognise the complex challenges facing today’s youth, especially around mental health, adolescence, and self-esteem. By offering access to both emotional and physical healthcare, we aim to support every child in a truly holistic way. Even families benefit from initiatives like prescription eyewear distributions, provided entirely free of cost.
Importantly, Sarva Sewa Trust is officially registered with the government, solidifying its commitment to transparency and accountability in its operations.
Over the years, Sarva Sewa Trust has made a significant impact,
aiding over 10,000 children in their educational pursuits. The
tangible success stories of the alumni, who have ventured into
diverse fields, reflect the trust's enduring commitment to
empowering individuals. These alumni now serve as chartered
accountants, police officers, Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
officers, bank managers, and professionals across various domains,
embodying the organization's dedication to shaping a brighter future
for the next generation.
